Shaggy: Luv Me, Luv Me

Classic.

Robin Thicke: Meiplé (Me I Play) Feat. Jay-Z

Fun song.

Emilio Rojas: Bold & Arrogant

Bold & Arrogant is a standout track off of a very strong mixtape. "The Natural" with DJ Green Lantern, contains several instances of Rojas showing that he's more than your average rapper in this day and age: he's a true spitter. He's exciting to watch, too, because he's quite versatile. While Rojas can put together a track all about confidence, like this one, with great finesse, he also displays that he is introspective and has a good sense of self-awareness throughout the entire "The Natural" tape.

Lupe Fiasco: Enemy of the State: A Love Story (Mixtape)

What better way to start off Thanksgiving than with the release of Lupe Fiasco’s new mixtape, Enemy of the State: A Love Story. Motivated by his exclusion from MTV’s list of the “Hottest MCs in the Game,” Lupe decided to get back in the studio and record a mixtape in efforts to get people to be like, “Look at this positive dude, the underdog. The positive one who came and murdered all these dudes.” Good work, MTV.

Rhyming over other MC’s beats, Lupe uses his smooth flow, clever wordplay, and deep lyrics to separate himself from the rest of the rappers that were on MTV’s list. His next mixtape, Friend of the People, will be coming out on Christmas.

Enjoy!

Alicia Keys: Empire State of Mind (Part II)

Debatable whether or not this song ever needed Hov.

B.o.B: Nothin' on You Feat. Bruno Mars

I have a feeling B.o.B's most recent song, 'Nothin' on You', will be turning heads. I've never heard of Bruno Mars, but his hook here is straight up ear candy. Don't be surprised if this is blowing up your radio in the near future.

**Side Note**

I want to point out that I'm making this post more than 10,000 feet in the sky - mid-flight from Atlanta to New York. With the new Go Go service on tons of flights, you can get free wifi up until January by using the following promo codes:

AIRTRANTRYGOGO (Airtran)
DELTATRYGOGO (Delta)
AATRYGOGO (American Airlines)

Prettttty cool.

Jay-Z x Radiohead: No Karma

This track is a mashup off of the Jaydiohead project released earlier this year by Max Tannone, a DJ and producer out of NYC, and is just one of the many gems that he created. It samples Jay-Z's "No Hook" from American Gangster and Radiohead's "Karma Police" from OK Computer. A fellow Usain In The Membrane reader told me about this project last week, and, after listening to it all the way through, I thought it was definitely worth a post. Enjoy!

B.o.B: No Man's Land & Mr. Bobby

One of my favorites in the "freshman class" of artists, B.o.B is a multi-talented musician with a very unique style. These two songs, off his most recent mixtape B.o.B vs. Bobby Ray, demonstrate his creative ability and dynamic style and definitely deserve a listen.

DJ Khaled: Fed Up Feat. Usher, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross & Drake

I guess by formula this one should be good. Production done by the Runners.

...I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is that Khaled does.

Not a big Rick Ross fan? Me neither. Here is the song without Rick Ross:

As promised: No Ceilings (Official Release)

Earlier this week we posted the first leak of this, but here is the official version of the No Ceilings mixtape by Lil Wayne. Below is the download link to the full mixtape. There are four new tracks, some minor changes on a few tracks, and the sound quality is better.

Tracks added since first leak:
17. No Ceilings ft. Birdman
18. Oh Let’s Do It
19. Single
20. Sweet Dreams ft. Nicki Minaj
“All my mixtapes are free, do not pay for nothing. If you pay for a mixtape of mine you were jacked.” - Weezy
He murdered these beats, so it's pretty fitting that this was released on Halloween.
Enjoy!

Night of the Living Dead

"Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them! It gets up and kills! The people it kills get up and kill!"

In the spirit of Halloween, Cookin' Soul & DJ Whoo Kid put together this eerily awesome mixtape of Tupac blends. Here are two of my favorite tracks from the mixtape:

Tupac - Phantasm ft. B.I.G. & Big L

Tupac - Candyman

Want the whole mixtape? Download it directly from the Cookin' Soul website here.

Juelz Santana: Mixing Up the Medicine

"I'm ballin' like the 80's/ Yeah, I'm so James Worthy"

Juelz delivers some hot lines over a REALLY hot beat. Kane Beatz works some magic by sampling the opening lines from Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues

Notorious B.I.G.: Can I Get Witcha (Mashups)

Because of the raving responses I received for the last Biggie mashup that I posted, I had to make sure that some other great ones I had in the vault didn't go unshared.

Gnarls Biggie: Crazy Butt
'Crazy Butt', is a standout track from the Gnarls Biggie tape released a few years ago. The beat is Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' and Big's 'Can I get Witcha' is layered on top.

Notorious B.I.G. & Andrea Bocelli: Can I Get Witcha / Con Te Partiro
This is an even more unlikely tandem than Big and Miley. You might recognize 'Con te Partiro', the song sampled here, from Will Ferrel's Catalina Wine Mixer performance in Step Brothers.

Wasted... Waster

First we have the anthem of the season- Gucci Mane's Wasted featuring Plies.
Party Party Party, lets all get wasted!

Lil Wayne lights this track up, literally, in his version- Waster
He takes his metaphors and swag to the next level on this joint.
Some great examples:

"I shake yo pussies up, I'm a vibrator"
"I am more animal than the zoo allow"
"you are local news, I'm 60 minutes"
"she gives me hot head, call it global warming"
"yo flow never wet, like grandma pussy, I'm always good, like grandma cookies"

Besides just being a preview, it will be mixed so that it is playable straight through to use at your discretion. Use this either to catch up on some of the best and most unique tracks released in the past week or to dj an upcoming party of your own. Royce Da 5'9": Dinner Time Feat. Busta Rhymes

Hopefully 'Dinner Time' compensates for my somewhat soft GaGa post. Royce goes in on this one, and once he gets started there's no letting up. Busta does his thing too, spitting some angry nonsense in the same stop and go cadence as Royce.

Eeeeeyupppp. This goes hard.
